A Derby part dessert, tea and coffee-service
Circa 1795, puce crown, crossed batons and D marks
Painted with sprigs of pink roses and buds below blue lines gilt with meandering leaf garlands, the pale-yellow borders painted with bands of berried laurel, between dark-blue and gilt lines, comprising: a pair of ice-pails, covers and liners, a lozenge shaped centrepiece, a pair of lozenge shaped dishes, four similar smaller dishes, a pair of kidney-shaped dishes, four octagonal dishes, ten plates, a sugar bowl and cover, twenty teabowls, five coffee cups and fourteen saucers
