A PAIR OF ITALIAN GREEN SERPENTINE MARBLE MODELS OF RECUMBENT LIONS

Each modelled as a male lion, one in a restful pose the other more alert, each raised upon a plinth base, the restful figure bearing a paper label to the underside printed INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION, DUBLIN 1865 KINGDOM OF ITALY and inscribe d in ink, No. S6, CLASS XXIII Subnumber 10.
