Blue interlaced L's enclosing date letters ii for 1786, painter's m:x for an unidentified flower painter, the cup incised T6, the saucer 41
The saucer painted with a bouquet of pink roses and other flowers within gilt line surround, the sides with a band of blue flare vases filled with pink roses and with bunches of violets suspended from purple bows alternating with bunches of blue cornflowers, reserved on the yellow ground within dark puce scalloped lines, the rim with a dark puce and gilt line edge, the cup with a similar border
