An unusual Lucy Peck poured wax headed doll
modelled as an old lady with head turned to the right, fixed pale blue striated eyes, inset light brown hair and stuffed body with wax arms, wearing original quilted red silk skirt, distressed blue and red brocade bodice, lace-frilled net cap, black velvet poke bonnet. cream wool petticoat with black velvet bands, flannel petticoat with herring-bone stitching, cotton shift, drawers, bronze kid shoes and blue and pink diamond patterned stockings --21in. (53.5cm.) high, with Lucy Peck oval stamp under shoulder plate (hand damageds and remains of powder bloom)
