Lot Essay

Both the standard and deluxe editions of this book contain two sets of prints, one coloured, the other uncoloured - the only difference being the paper on which they were printed. In this copy, however, each colour plate is signed in pencil. In his letter dated 12 May 1928 Laborde writes to the purchaser, Mr Wallis, that I am quite ready to sign each colour plate specially for you and The original drawing 'Green Park' that you choosed (sic) will be enclosed in your copy.
