Chancery 2o (298 x 197 mm). 206 leaves. 42 lines and headline, double column. Gothic type 2:105. Three- to eight-line initial spaces. (Some occasional worming, catching a few letters, some mold-spotting in the first quire.) 19th-century blind-tooled calf (rebacked, some wear). Provenance: faint monastic inscription on first leaf -- Robert Buchanan Stewart (bookplate) -- George Dunn (Woolley Hall bookplate) -- sold Sotheby's London, 16 October 1979, lot 229.

An early edition of the cycle of sermons for the feasts of the saints by Jacobus de Voragine. Herman Kästlin printed in Augsburg from 1479 to 1485.
