4o (319 x 232 mm). Engraved allegorical frontispiece and title, portrait of Lodovico Manin, ornate full-page printer's device at end, 16 vignettes and 80 fine engraved borders surrounding the text. Original broccato d'oro paper wrappers (joints lighty rubbed); cloth slipcase. Provenance: John Saks (bookplate, sold Christie's London, 9 December 1983, lot 159) -- W.R.H. Jeudwine (bookplate, sold Bloomsbury, 29 November 1984, lot 267).
