Original blue-green pictorial printed wrappers (several rebacked, others with skilfull repairs, few scattered small chips to spines and short tears, larger repaired tears to part 20, few minor light stains); red morocco pull-off case.

FIRST EDITION IN ORIGINAL MONTHLY PARTS (following the publication in weekly parts), later back wrappers on 3 parts, almost all inserted advertisements and publishers' catalogues as called for, including that of George Virtue in part 20.
