Oval, the base a cabochon garnet, the cover set with turquoise stones in the form of a flower, flanked by foliate scrolls on a textured ground, with foliate and fishscale borders, the grille a diaperwork and interlocking circle pattern, with sponge, indistinctly marked inside cover and on side
