In the decade of the 60s a vast body of monotypes arose. The monotypes are done in super fine rice paper, showing linear forms, segments with writing, hints of landscapes or just ambiguous spatial landmarks.
Together they suggest a special ambience, similar to a diffuse impenetrable landscape of white/translucent sheets hanging from the ceiling. They alter the space with a tense relation between transparency and opacity. The objetos graficos came later and are to be suspended, showing the anterior and posterior view of the object, thus creating a circular and continuous lecture. The transparencies as well as the implied text further suggest multiple readings and sensations upon the viewer.
