The ovolo sight edge with a cresting above of two cherubs holding a cross aloft, the sides with further cherubs, the base with crossed palm leaves, the reverse carved with scrolling foliage overall -- 17¼in. (43.8cm.) high; and a small ebonised and bone cassetta frame, 16th or 17th century, 7in. (17.8cm.) wide (2)
