An Imperial double-headed spread eagle and two capitals below, one indistinct, the other capital R, Vienna, possibly 1836
On four griffin-shaped feet, the base decorated with two musicians and two dancers, each in arched niche, between stylised shells and strapwork, the stem shaped as a woman blowing a panpipe seated in an openworked foliate scroll ornament, four cupids blowing a panpipe, each standing in an arched niche, openworked scrolls and strapwork above, the shaped bowl decorated with similar dancers and musicians, masks, goat's heads, stylised foliage, scrolls, foliage and strapwork, the gallery with oval linked band alternated by four goat's masks and four foliate ornaments, fitted with shaped circular dish liner, marked on base
