ENGLISH, LATE EIGHTEENTH/EARLY NINETEENTH CENTURY
the handle formed from star-pierced struts, with oval stepped base, the cornelian intaglio with carved coat of arms and motto
The arms are those of Pasley, presumably for Sir Thomas Pasley 1st Bt (1734-1808), Admiral of the White.
