A gold-cased fob seal
ENGLISH, NINETEENTH CENTURY
with scrollwork handle, the domed base fluted above a floral and foliate frieze and hinged to reveal a compartment containing plaited hair, the inner cover with engraved inscription, the bloodstone matrix with engraved coat of arms and motto
The arms are those of Katchbull, presumably for Sir Edward Katchbull (1781-1849)

and a further gold-cased fob seal, with fluted domed base and hardstone matrix with engraved crest and motto -- 3.1cms.
The crest is that of Brown of Finderlie, Co. Kinross.
