A four-case inro
signed in gold hiramakie and red lacquer on the underside, Kakusensai, 19th Century
decorated in gold tamakie and kirikane, inlaid in mother-of-pearl and horn on a yasuriko-nashiji ground, with a bird and bee in flight above flowering branches and leaves, gilt-metal ojime and lacquered ivory fan shaped netsuke, interior in gyobu nashiji, the inro -- 3 3/8in. (8.5cm.) high, (the inro with a few minor losses).
