The hull, carved from the solid, with rudder is finished with 'copper' painted sheathing and black -- 23 x 33in. (58.5 x 84cm.); together with another, Falcon of London, with carved wooden furled sails, rigging and similar details -- 15 x 21in. (38 x 53.5cm.) Stand; and a waterline model of H.M.S. Caledonia with all lifeboats hung out on their davits, sailing in a green cloth sea in a wood-bound glazed case -- 13 x 21in. (33 x 53.5cm.) (3)
