A Victorian silver-mounted glass claret-jug

Formed as a cockatoo, the glass body cut with wings and with glass scroll handle, resting on two realistically chased silver claw-and-ball feet and feathered tail, the hinged silver head mount chased in detail with feathers and features and set with red and black glass eyes, with the crest forming the thumbpiece, and the beak forming the spout, marked on upper and lower sections of head at side, and on lower section at tail
