Two silver tea-caddies and a sugar-box
One caddy with mark of Thomas Ash, London, 1802, the other with mark of John Farnell, London, 1725, the sugar-box with mark of Samuel Taylor, London, 1746
The oblong caddies each on moulded rim foot and with cut-corners, sliding top plate and detachable domed covers with ball finials, the oval sugar-box with slightly domed cover with bell-shaped finial, the bases each engraved with the initials 'R*I K', the bodies later engraved with the initials 'JEM', one caddy marked on base and sliding plate, the other on body and plate, the sugar-box marked on body and cover, together with six silver-gilt dog-nose pattern teaspoons, mark of Johh Ladyman, London, circa 1700, and a pair of gilt sugar-tongs with acorn shaped finial, all in a red velvet lined fitted shagreen case with brass carrying handle and shaped lockplate

The later initials are said to be for Lieutenant James Maynard, of Ryde, Isle of Wight, who served under General Wolfe at the Battle of Quebec in 1759.
