A Minton pottery circular charger
Year cypher for 1877, impressed marks, elaborate stylised signature imitating Islamic calligraphy, retailer's marks for John Mortlock & Co./London
Painted by Louis F. Rhead with two maidens wearing loose robes, standing before a terrace, one feeding birds, the other holding a bird to her shoulder, another maiden seated on a bench behind gazing at a young man on the terrace above, signed, the border painted with a band of leaves (some slight deterioration to the enamels)
