A BLUE AND WHITE OVIFORM 'DRAGON' JAR
Underglaze-blue Daoguang seal mark and of the period (1821-50)
Finely painted in pale blue lines with two sinuous dragons in mutual pursuit divided by flaming pearls, all among clouds above a band of stylised lotus leaves at the foot, the shoulder with the Eight Buddhist Emblems below the short cylindrical neck
