A PAIR OF FRENCH EBONISED TORTOISESHELL AND BRASS VENEERED BRONZE MOUNTED SIDE CABINETS, 19TH CENTURY, IN THE MANNER OF BOULLE
Surmounted by verde antico moulded marble tops of recessed broken outline, the friezes and enclosing mirror panel doors inlaid with contrepartie foliate scroll brass work heightened with coloured foils and flanked by panels with caryatid figures with foliate and floral trailing ornament, the sides inlaid with brass lines and applied with figures of Ceres and Time, plinth bases with panels and tapering feet with foliate bun sabots, splits to the sides
