The gorge case finely engraved with leaves, foliate scrolls and geometric designs on a stipple ground, with conforming frame to a bevelled oval viewing glass, the sides mounted with champlevé enamel panels decorated with polychrome flowers against a turquoise ground and within an engraved gilt border, the dial with conforming decoration and inset gilt chapter ring with painted Roman numerals, blued steel hands, with conforming alarm ring below, the twin barrel movement with large silvered platform to a cut bimetallic balance, with strike/repeat/alarm on gong to the back plate, signed and numbered Breguet No.5125, with punch-stamped movement number to the lower left corner 16032; sold with Breguet certificate No.4210

It is interesting to note that Breguet refer to this style of case as cannelee and to the enamel as cloisonné.
