Further details
This dress was worn by Annie Holden in a painting dated 1877 by Samuel Sidley and Richard Ansdell which was exhibited at the Royal Academy in the same year. The painting featured Annie, the daughter of Angus Holden, and her brother Ernest seated on a pony.
