CROWN was designed before 1912 for printing onto cotton and linen, Merton Abbey, pattern number 9165. An identical design was registered by Wardle, 6 March 1885.

A panel of FLOWER GARDEN soft furnishing woven silk in peaches and pastels--52 x 27in. (130 x 67.5cm.), designed William Morris 1879; and a panel of dusky pink furnishing cotton damask, woven with the design of CROWN--29 x 54in. (72 x 135cm.), CROWN designed before 1912 for printing onto cotton and linen, Merton Abbey, pattern 9165, an identical design was registered by Wardle, 6 March 1885 (2)
