An English ironstone blue and white shaped oval meat dish
Circa 1825, printed mark, impressed numeral
Printed with the 'Indian Vase' pattern of birds among branches and flowers issuing from a vase, before a river landscape, within a border of flowers
21¼in. (54cm.) wide
and another meat dish with moulded well, probably Thomas Shirley & Co., Clyde Pottery, printed with the 'Continental Cathedral' pattern, named for James Carmical (sic.) (chip to one foot, some glaze scratching) (2)
