Two Derby figures of a musician and companion
Circa 1756, some of the decoration possibly later
Modelled as a gentleman playing a flute and a lady playing a mandolin, wearing a pink tricorn hat, a pale-yellow lined coat and flowered breeches, she wears a flowered over dress and a skirt with purple flowerheads, on scroll moulded bases (her head broken and restuck, each with their right hand and part of their instrument deficient, some other minor chips)
