A Continental white faience model of a spaniel
Circa 1790, probably Brussels
Probably inspired by a Sèvres original, the hound naturalistically modelled seated, head turned slightly
6¼in. (16cm.) high
a silver shaped faience plate, possibly Italian, painted blue, green , yellow, ochre and outlined in manganese with a spray of fruit and flowers below lesser sprays; a French faience rectangular box and cover painted with flowers issuing from scrolls; and a Delft plate painted and gilt in an Oriental palette with flowerhead panels painted with chinese boys and flowers below a diaper pattern border (4)
