Britannia Illustrata, or Le Nouveau Théâtre de La Grande Bretagne: Six Plates
six engravings, 1708-13, with hand-coloring, on laid papers, published in London, with margins, all with central vertical folds where previously bound (backed), the palest light- staining and surface soiling on all plates, Ashdowne Parke with occasional pale foxing in the right margin, Badminton in the County of Gloucester with staining in the lower left margin corner and extending into the image, otherwise apparently in very good condition, in black frames with ornate faux-gilded trim, not examined out of the frames
