The first early 19th Century, the second circa 1860
The first with iron barrel belled at the muzzle, plain lock of military type with later iron cover, blackened oak stock, and iron mounts (in patinated condition), on wooden stand; the second entirely of cast iron with two-stage barrel pivoting to the left for loading, the base-plate marked 'Déposé' and with retaining loop for the hammer
