A RARE CASED 80-BORE REPEATING AIR RIFLE ON THE GIRANDONI SYSTEM

With rebrowned swamped octagonal sighted barrel polygroove rifled and signed in gold capital letters on the top flat, the breech with sprung sliding cross-bar and cylindrical steel magazine on the right side, shaped flat bevelled lock engraved with foliage and a martial trophy, figured walnut half-stock, screw-on leather-covered butt reservoir, brass and iron mounts finely engraved with foliage and martial trophies, engraved silver fore-end cap, set trigger, and original brass-mounted ramrod: in brass-bound mahogany case (relined) with spare butt reservoir, pump, and further accessories, the lid with flush-fitting carrying handle and circular escutcheon
