A HODGES PATENT CATAPULT GUN

With bifurcated rigid iron bow bearing an adjustable brass fore-sight on an iron bar, strings of cord and rubber, signed brass lock (cross-bolt loose) engraved with shells and foliage and with later brass back-sight, walnut gun-stock with chequered grip and fore-end, and iron mounts including butt-plate, and trigger-guard with pineapple finial (engraving worn, some surface pitting)
