A Meissen kakiemon plate
Circa 1735, blue crossed swords mark, Dreher's .. to footrim
Painted with a bird in flight beside flowering chrysanthemum issuing from green and turquoise rockwork and with scattered flower-sprays within a double red line cartouche, the border with three trailing flowering branches (some very minor wear to enamels)
8½ in. (21.7 cm.) diam.
