VIVIEN LEIGH, LESLIE HOWARD, GEORGE BESSOLO (REEVES) AND OTHERS SIGNED BOOK AND UNPUBLISHED SNAPSHOTS FROM SET

A 1938 hardcover edition of GWTW signed on the flyleaf by major cast members in black fountain-pen ink including Vivien Leigh, Leslie Howard, George Bessolo (who had changed his name to George Reeves once the film was released and who later went on to become 'Superman' in the 1950s television series), Frederick Crane and director Victor Fleming. Also included are sixteen vintage black and white unpublished snapshots (some are duplicate images) from the set including two showing Reeves and Crane signing this exact book, three of Vivien Leigh and one of Victor Fleming, among other cast members. Additionally, a handwritten letter of provenance from the woman who obtained the sigtures and took the photographs accompanies this lot.
