Meiji Period (late 19th century), the first with signature Joso to [Miyasaki Joso (1855-1910)], the second with signature Koun
The first modelled as Jurojin standing with a deer and carrying a scroll, the hem of his robe incised with a keyfret or wave pattern stained dark; the second of Hotei playing at being a tortoise with a small boy riding on his back, the boy with an umbrella over his shoulder
