(20th century), with signature Yasuaki and with engraved seal on gold tablet Kodama
Modelled as the old man in the tale of the Tongue-cut Sparrow at the moment he opens the box of treasures, the surface of the box incised to resemble woven wicker and the contents rendered in inlaid shell and colored ivory
