A pair of pewter pricket candlesticks
Liège, late 19th Century
Each with a flat drip-pan stamped ETAIN DANGLETERRE and P.J. Joiris/Liege centred by a pricket, above a multi-baluster shaft and on a spreading tripartite base and scroll feet - 58cm. high; A pewter charger and six small pewter plates probably Malines, 19th Century, each engraved with a cardinals stamp - 18cm. and 37cm. diam.; A Dutch brass-mounted pewter samovar, circa 1800, the cylinder-shaped body with domed lid and knob finial containing a strainer, lion's mask handles to the sides, the faucet at the base, above a pierced square plinth with a drawer to the reverse for charcoal, on bun feet, the pewter surface previously decorated - 39cm. high x 12cm. wide x 24cm. deep; A Flemish pewter jug, probably 18th century, with hinged lid and scallop thumbrest - 27cm. high; And an English pewter jug 19th century, the hinged lid marked London5i and S D L R - 29cm.
