Late 18th Century
The circular white-enamelled Roman and Arabic dial signed Sotiau/A Paris, containing the later canted movement with outside countwheel and strike on bell, within a glass case, surmounted by a stepped top and a pierced gallery, above an inverted plinth centred by a frieze depicting various putti, above a white marble panelled base centred by scrolling foliage, on bun feet, with later movement
