A Gilt Bronze Figure of Shadakshari
Tibeto-Chinese, Dated 14th Year of Kangxi (1675)
Seated on a double-lotus base with his principal hands folded before his chest, wearing long flowing robes incised with floral borders and a sash wrapped around his arms, the ends dangling over the base on either side, with beaded jewelry and an elaborate tiara partly inset with hardstones, the back of the base centered by a large lotus leaf, incised along the lower rim with the date 14th year 8th month 27th day of Kangxi and the remainder of the inscription effaced
