The quest for the 'abstract' within the domain of the 'ordinary', coupled with a profound sense of alienation, forms a continuous vein that runs through Padamsee's oeuvre. While the manifestations range from the timeless Metascapes to the lonely human figures, there is a sense of continuity prevalent through a similar treatment of space and use of color.
