The cabinet 17th/18th century, enclosed by a later glazed door with projecting fluted columns, the central enclosed compartment between secret compartments surrounded by nineteen various drawers inlaid with stylised flowers of Mughal influence, the sides with foliate scrolling borders (defective), applied with wrought iron handles, the Victorian carved rosewood base with pierced foliate C-scroll apron, on cabriole legs with foliate cabochon ornament and scroll feet on pads
The cabinet 36in. (91.5cm.) wide, 23in. (58.5cm.) deep, 23in. (58.5cm.) high, the cabinet and stand 59in. (150cm.) high
