The bulbous body finely painted with a frieze of three carp leaping from a wind-tossed sea interrupted by three gilt-metal lion-mask and loose ring handles, and the trumpet-shaped mouth encircled by two shaded blue foliate dragons with entwined tails reserved on a lemon-yellow ground between a band of feather tips below and keyfret at the rim, the interior enameled in turquoise
5½in. (13.9cm.) diam.
