Song dynasty (960-1279)
Of slightly domed circular form, the hexagonally lobed sides flaring slightly towards the flat base below the scalloped edge of the flowerhead that encircles the central aperture, covered with a glaze of milky lavender-blue tone shading to mushroom on the edges, the unglazed base burnt pale brown in the firing
