The Parke photograph and inscription recalls the Stanley's honeymoon in July 1890, Dorothy writes: "On Saturday July 12, 1890, I was married to Stanley, at Westminster Abbey. He was very ill at the time, with gastritis and malaria, but his powerful will enabled him to go through with the ceremony.
