Travels into the Interior of Southern Africa. In which are Described the Character and the Condition of the Dutch Colonists of the Cape of Good Hope, London: T. Cadell and W. Davies, 1806. 2 volumes, 4° (262 x 200mm.). 8 hand-coloured aquatint plates by T. Medland after S. Daniell, 8 folding engraved maps, 3 hand-coloured (a few spots on title of vol. one and at a few margins, maps lightly offset onto text and title of vol. II), 19th-century polished calf by Morrell, covers with triple gilt fillet borders, spines gilt in compartments with red and green morocco lettering pieces (a few very light scuff marks), gilt edges.
