Lot Essay

Adopt-A-Minefield raises awareness and funds to clear landmines and help survivors of landmine accidents. The programme was first set up in the U.S. in 1999 and was brought to the U.K. by Heather Mills in 2001. The painting from which this lithograph is taken was done in 1996 by Paul McCartney, and this limited edition of 100 was created by Sir Paul specifically for Adopt-A-Minefield.
