The case with brass handle to an inverted bell top, with pierced frets to the upper front and rear doors and double frets to the sides, on later squab feet, the 8in. wide brass dial with foliate spandrels to a silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, matted centre with mock pendulum aperture, lacking mock pendulum, and date aperture, lacking date ring, formerly with with strike/silent by 45, lacking lever, the arch with painted rolling moon, lacking connection, and signed above Marm.d Storr London, now with later four pillar and twin chain fusee movement with arched plates, with anchor escapement and strike on bell
