Makers mark only H.G., late 18th Century, possibly American
With rising curved spout, domed hinged cover and simple wood handle, with engraved presentation inscription, "From General Doyle to Captain Graham in acknowledgment of kindnesses and ability displayed in a voyage of unusual length and difficulty, 1796"
