Mark of Dougal Ged, Edinburgh 1735
Of shaped circular form on three hoof feet, the ground with engraved crest
7in. (18cm.);
and a further George II waiter, shaped circular with shell rim, the ground with engraved crest, Robert Abercrombie, London 1741 -- 6in. (15cm.) (2)

The first waiter -- Graham-Stirlings of Strowan, Strowan House, Perthshire and by descent to Mrs. George Boothby
The second waiter -- Robert Colt of Auldhame and Gartsherrie, Inveresk House, Lothian and by descent to Ronald Colt
Purchased in the 1930's from the executors of the late Ronald Colt
