Lot Essay

Sarah Morgan (1787-1824), the daughter of Ensign Jonas Morgan and Sara Mott of Preston, Connecticut, was born in Lansingburgh, New York where Ammi Phillips worked between 1815 and 1822. She was married in 1805 to lawyer Ebeneger W. Walbridge and had four children.
