The rectangular top with bowed ends with hinged demilune leaves above a conforming skirt fitted with a drawer and a sham drawer, on square tapering legs with arrow and flame inlay, appears to retain its original brasses

Lot Essay

The distinctive inlay on the legs of this pembroke table is in keeping with Federal furniture from the Connecticut River Valley including works made by such craftsmen as Nathan Lombard of Sutton, Massachusetts.
